He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Vaughn (Edward VanDalsen) of Lafayette and Allison Vaughn (James Deaton) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Elliott, Theodora, Willow and Leo; and his brother David Vaughn (Marla) of Indianapolis.
