He was predeceased by: his father Clarence E. Jackson; his wife Dorothy Hague; and his sisters, Betty Turner and Joan Hammond. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer German (Doug) of Delphi; his close friend Judith Smith; Randie Smith (Cathy) of Battleground and Jeffrey Smith (Shelly) of Lafayette. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
