She was predeceased by: her father John Barton; her husband Michael Glenn Garrett of Ann's Catholic Church; her mother Frances Eillen Barton (Kearney); her sons, Dennis DuWayne Garrett and Robert Glenn Garrett; and her sisters, Madonna M. Mikulaj and Lois Ann Hanthorn.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard E. Garrett (Tammy Duncan) of Lafayette and Michael Scott Garrett of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Blake, Austin, Hanna and Emma Garrett; her siblings, Marilyn L. Snapp, Janie Farrell (Mike) and John Barton (Linda); her caregiver Susan Marchand; and her pet Fiona Chihuahua.

Memorial contributions in Cora's name may be given to St. Ann Catholic Church & Shrine.
