He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Ellsworth and Jennie Kay Blackwell (Koning). He is survived by : his children, Mark D. Blackwell of Lafayette, Catherine S. Wyant (Charles) of Lafayette and Scott E. Blackwell (Sheila) of Vicksburg, MI; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Joshua, Dylan, Logan, Brandon, Paige, Sara and Jennifer. He is also survived by his 11 great grandchildren.
