He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander and Anna Margaret Ross Alexander. He is survived by: his brother Stephen Ross Alexander (Deborah); his sibling's children, Shannon Alexander Farrar (Grant), Heather Lohr Alexander (Charlie Dockery), Jeffrey Ross Alexander (Shelly) and Katherine Alexander Averitt (Nicholas); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexandra Lohr Farrar, Aubree Alexander Dockery, John Ross Averitt and Jameson Alexander Averitt (Carolyn Baker).
