He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Johnson and Patricia Johnson (Childers); and his brother Dale Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Jan Payne; his siblings, Douglas Johnson (Joyceann Merrimann-Johnson) of Burnsville, MN, Daniel Johnson (Tammy) of Homer, IL and Krystal Tipton of Owasso, OK; his stepchildren, John Payne of Lafayette, Jamie Payne of Lafayette, Justine Hagen (Alex) of Lafayette, Jennifer Payne (Tyler Tatlock) of West Lafayette and Jordan Bagnoli (Michael) of St Petersburg, FL.; his grandchildren, Harley, Kelly, Roman, Theodore, Eva, Charlotte and Winston; and his siblings' children, Scott, Noah, Courtney, Chelsea, Samantha and Allison.
