Dixie Lee Gastineau Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Lee Gastineau of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Francesville, Indiana, who passed away on April 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Rose Moncel and Jones; her significant other Clarence Edwin Gastineau; and her sisters, MarJean Tiede and Mona Lou Herr.

She is survived by: her children, Allen Gastineau (Gary Palmer) of Fishers, Roger Gastineau (Carol) of West Lafayette, Debra Bradley (Dan Hooper) of Lafayette, Diana Koontz (John) of Lafayette, Jeri Wilson (Brian) of Grain Valley, MO and Elaine Zink of West Lafayette; and her siblings, Joe Moncel of Francesville and Bonnie Bumbalough (Sam) of Lafayette. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Hippensteel will observe current Covid-19 precautions, along with social distancing and current government attendance guidelines.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association in Dixie's memory.
