It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Barkley of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Forest, Indiana, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barkley and Evelyn Barkley (Dalrymple); his wife Barbara J. Ridgley; his siblings, Karen Hackerd (Tom) and Cleo Eugene Barkley; and his pets, Dippy and Rigley.
He is survived by: his children, Tresa Patterson (Skip), Bridget Smith of Frankfort, Donna Holt (Terry) of Lafayette and Donald Barkley (Abby) of West Lafayette; his grandchildren, Damon Holt, Nikki, Krista, Cody Louks, Xander and Briella Barkley; his son-in-law James Smith; and his sister-in-law Nina Barkley of Frankfort.
