She is survived by: her daughter Akyena Hamilton (Jamie) of Houston, TX; her siblings, Terry Burdett (Carolyn) of Lafayette, Patricia Mays, David Burdett, Jr. and Herman Burdett; and her granddaughter Kiara Hamilton. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
