It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Drenda Lee Yocum of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Drenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Drenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Drenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Peters and Elizabeth Peters (Green); and her brother Rick Peters. She is survived by: her children, Robert Rivers (Bob) of Flora, IN, Mary Reners of Lafayette and April Riley of Royal Center; and her sister Sherry Young. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
