It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin E. Anthrop Jr. (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Anthrop and Rose Anthrop (Davis); and his siblings, Jayne Clinton and George Anthrop. He is survived by: his wife Mona Winger Parnell; his children, Connie K. Anthrop (David) of West Point, Denise R. Nugent of Lafayette and David Smith of West Point; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Scheffee (Gretchen), Danyelle Arnoni (Anthony), Zachary Anthrop (Jenna), Natasha Villalpando (Jon), Ashley Anthrop, Nathan Anthrop (Tianna) and Kevin Romack; and his sister Carolyn Anthrop of Lafayette.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909).
