It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen M. Prien (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Scott and Ecil Scott; and her husband Milton Prien. She is survived by: her children, Gail Snyder (Curtis), Jill Geheb (Stephen) and Kevin Prien (Hanneke); her grandchildren, Samantha Lowry (Kevin), Dane Snyder (Leah) and Andrew Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Kendall and Blake Lowry.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate to The Humane Society of Greater Lafayette, 3150 Sagamore Parkway South, Lafayette, IN 47909 in Ellen's name.
