She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Taylor and Helen Irene Sutherlin (Collins); her brothers, Ronald Sutherlin and Jerry Sutherlin; her former husband James Risk; her close friend Larry Toliver; her niece Robyn L. Sutherlin; and her nephew Michael Craig Sutherlin.

She is survived by: her significant other Adrian Matlock; her son Alan Risk (Shirley); her granddaughter Kaylee; and her niece Jeanette Crisafulli (Jason). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
