He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Kopf and Doris Kopf (Martin); and his siblings, Paul Kopf, Anna Rogers and Nancy Kopf.

He is survived by: his wife Katrina K. Kopf of Lafayette; his children, Brooke Kopf of Lafayette and Nicholas Kopf (Aleea) of Shadeland; and his grandchildren, Peyton, Gracelyn and Clayton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909).

Memorial contributions may be made in Dick's name to the Diabetes Association or an animal shelter of choice.
