We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2023, at the age of 92, Eva N. Smith of Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Savage R. Sims (Crabtree); her husband Robert Dale "Bob" Smith; her father John "Tol" Sims; her sister Peg J. Sheehan; and her brothers-in-law, Richard "Dick" Carter, Richard "Dick" Coleman and George E. Sheehan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Higbee (Darrell) of Lafayette and Cathy Boler (Gerald) of Spencer, Indiana; her grandchildren, Katie Pierce (Kyle) of Rossville, Kari Higbee of Lafayette, Austin Higbee of Lafayette, Allison Slatton of Valparaiso, Kyle Ellerthorpe (Cara) of Chesterton and Nicole Ellerthorpe of Mulberry, Indiana; and her sisters, Helen Carter of Monticello and Edith Coleman of Findlay, Ohio.. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Monticello Christian Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
