With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garry Edward Johnson of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on July 7, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Frank Johnson; his former wife Janet "JJ" Cors; his siblings, Mary, John E. Eberle and Larry Johnson; his daughter-in-law Raeann Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Johnson and Dick Gephart.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Perkins of Lafayette; his sons, Tim Johnson of Knightstown, Pat Johnson of Lafayette, Tony Johnson (Macey) of Colfax and Todd Johnson (Kelly) of Vilonia, AR; his siblings, Carol Gephart of West Lafayette and Bobby Johnson of Lafayette; his sister-in-law June Johnson (Larry) of Greenhill; and his stepchildren, Mike Perkins of Otterbein, Michelle Coors (Bart) of West Lafayette, Doug Perkins (Melissa) of Fowler, Melissa Scott (Brian) of Asheville, NC and Jeremy Perkins (Kevin) of Grand Rapids, MI.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church in loving memory of Garry.
