He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ripke and Alice Ripke; and his brother David Ripke. He is survived by: his wife Kristine Ply (Kris); his grandchildren, Karlie, Thomas, Heidi, Wrigley, Amelia, Gideon, Miriam, Joshua, Cooper, Alice and Nora; and his siblings, Barb Pike (Rick), Mark Ripke (Judy) and Phil Ripke (Susan).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Home (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (102 Buckingham Dr, Lafayette, IN 47909).
As he longed to reach heaven, he understood that no matter how much Parkinson's disease affected his body, he could continue to preach the Gospel message to those around him.
