It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Eugene Edwards Sr. of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Mark and Loretta Ellen Edwards (Hendrix); his siblings, Karen Stackhouse and Tom Edwards; and his grandsons, David Edwards and Brett Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Zellers; and his children, Jenifer Edwards (Ann Norton) of Indianapolis, Laura Reinken (Art) of Covington, Jessica Wilken (Josh) of Westpoint, Sarah Ogborn (Jason Breymeyer) of Oxford and Gerald Edwards Jr. (Lori) of Westpoint. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Food Finders Food Bank or First Christian Church.
