With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerolene Long of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Morris McKinney and Dorothy Smith McKinney; her sister Ella Mae Krout; her sister-in-law Janet McKinney; and her former life partner Charles Douglas.

She is survived by : her husband Bob; her children, Steve Covington (Janet), Tisha DeLeeuw (Ryan), Shane Long (Tammy) and Janna Quinn; her grandchildren, Hanna (Ken), Austin (Abby), Ryan, Jake, Daegon, Lauren, Adian, Marian, Obi, Cameron, Enoch, Ephriam and Renee; her great grandchildren, Ava, Adele, Archer and Willow; and her siblings, Gene McKinney (Barb), Glenn McKinney (Mary Rose), Doug McKinney (Kathy), Bennie McKinney, Jerry McKinney, Earl McKinney (Cheryl), Barbara Howell (Tom) and Pearl McKinney.
