She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Slayton and Amos Slayton of Brookston, Indiana.; her daughter Diana Trapp; her grandson Rodney Trapp; and her brother Russell Slayton.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Deckard of Brookston. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
