She is survived by: her children, Cathy Whitaker and John Edwards II; her sister Pat Travis; her grandchildren, Jason Whitaker (Tracie), Shawn Whitaker (Stephanie) and Tyler Marquie (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Alisa, Dakota, Jocelyn, Nathan, Bradley, Oliver, Hayden and Milo.
