He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carte and Mary Carte (Landseadel); his daughter Amy Ann Carte; and his brothers, Fred Carte and David Carte.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Carte of Lafayette and Lisa Corley (Ben) of Wilmington, NC.; and his grandchildren, Fiona Carte, Gavan Sallee, Illyanna Sallee, Nathaniel Sallee, Gabrial Corley and Jackson Corley.
