She is survived by: her husband Walter Anwander of Lafayette; her children, Andreas Anwander (Julie) of Lafayette, IN and Christine Anwander Calzolano of Harrison, NY; and her brother Horst Fischer (Anne) of Wilmington, DE.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
