She was predeceased by: her husband Cliford Wayne Brooks; her parents, Roscoe Brooks and Mamie Brooks; and her sisters, Eula Franklin (James) of Clarksville, TN and Elaine Hinckley (Kenneth) of Lafayette, IN..

She is survived by: her daughter Karen Zidar (Walter) of Lafayette, IN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, World Vision or church of the donor's choice.
