Jack leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jack’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jack will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Rhoda and Hilda Della Rhoda (Korschot); and his siblings, George Lee Rhoda and Patricia Jane Dietrich. He is survived by: his wife Karen Rhoda (Slopsema); his children, Douglas Dale Rhoda (Regina) of Frankfort, Stephen Kent Rhoda (Mary) of Terre Haute, Tricia Lynn Bosma (Rob) of Hudsonville and Pamela Sue McNamara (Kevin) of St. John, Indiana; and his brother Jacob Allen Rhoda (Sue) of Brookston, Indiana.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Lafayette (1723 S 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47905).
