It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Tarter of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virl P. and Grace Tarter (Foster); his children, Kim Reid (Roy) of Lafayette, IN, Tim Tarter (Cathy) of Frankfort, IN and Tony Tarter (Cecelia) of Indianapolis, IN; and his sister Lucille Cooper of Lafayette, IN.. He was also cherished by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
