He is survived by: his daughter Beverly Erdie of Lafayette; his sister Jonnie; his children, Betty Newton (Ed) of Lafayette, James O. Erdie (Shara) of Lafayette and Jacquelyne Wing (George) of Lufkin, TX; and his grandchildren, Katherine Hudgins (David) of Lafayette, Megan Castor (Troy) of Lafayette, Karissa Erdie of Lafayette, Justin Erdie of Lafayette and Kendra Wing of Lufkin, TX. He is also survived by fifteen Great Grandchildren, four Great-Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
