She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cassell and Eva Cassell (Maxwell); and her husband Clyde Ploughe. She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Krauser of Indianapolis; her brother Dana Cassell of Lafayette; and her granddaughter Emily Krauser.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Trinity United Methodist Church or Delta Zeta Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority.
