He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Sego and Harriett E. Sego (Prather); and his sister Karen Moore. He is survived by: his son John Robert Lee Sego of Lafayette; his stepdaughter A. J. Yost of Lafayette; his siblings, Travis Long of Frankfort, Robert Sego of Lafayette, Cindy Yates of Lafayette and Debbie Castaneda of Elk Grove, CA; and his cousins, Steve and Kyle Yates.
