He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Spitznagle and Mary Spitznagle (Hatke); and his sister Judy Haan (Fred). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rowe; his children, Ross A. Spitznagle (Candy Franklin) of Dunkirk, Elaine J. Budreau (Devin) of Otterbein and Hanna C. Gish (Jesse) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Olive, Georgie, Winston, Beau and Boone; his siblings, Janice Haan (Jack), Don (JoAnne), Dave (Judy), Rich (Retta), Karen Hilker (Jim), Ann Crisp (Jim), Mick and Marilyn Butcher; and his brother-in-law Jon Rowe (Joi).
