John E. Edmundson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Edmundson of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude L. Edmundson and Mildred E. Edmundson (Drysdale); his wife Carol A. Edmundson; his daughter Penny Welsh Prather; and his brothers, Dick and Ron Edmundson.
He is survived by: his children, Aidyn Edmundson (Teresa) and Tammy Guenther; his brother Bill Edmundson (Diane); his aunt Aimee Fields; his grandchildren, J. Welsh, Emily Claton (Trevor), Kayla Fuqua (Ben), Ashley Eads (Nathan), Shelby Luedtke (Michael), Andreanna Maynor (John), Steven Edmundson, Chloe Edmundson, Diederich Brewer, Tre Edmundson, Malakie Edmunson, Layton Edmundson and Oliva Edmundson; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Paisley, Remington, Audrey, Emery, Ronnie, Gerard, Grace, Johnnie, Amira, LIlli, Emory, Naomi and J. J.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home (1104 Columbia St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral & Cremation Services (1104 Columbia St, Lafayette, IN 47901).
