He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: William L. Strong and Betty R. Strong; wife: Joan Strong; sister: Nancy Chase; brother: William A. Strong; sons: John A. Strong (Shelley), William V. Strong (Nancy) and Jay T. Strong (Debra); and eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Cemetery Tippecanoe Memory Gardens (1718 W 350 N, West Lafayette, IN 47906).
