He was predeceased by: his brothers, Vassie Crosby and Larry Crosby; and his grandchildren, Kamilion Jenkins and Jose Jenkins Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Jose Jenkins of Michigan City, Ebony Jenkins of Michigan City, Ivory Jenkins of Michigan City, Shenita Hinton of Waverly, IA and Joia Sangs of West Lafayette; and his siblings, Ruth Pope of St. Louis, MO, Henrietta Armour of St. Louis, MO, Victoria Crosby of St. Louis, MO and Onie Reed of Gulf Port, MS. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
