Kathy A. Mayhew Obituary

Kathy A. Mayhew, 64, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born November 4, 1957, in Lafayette to the late James and LouElla (Sandefur) Jones. On July 5, 2003, she married Bradley Mayhew in Delphi and he survives. Kathy had worked at Lafayette Home Hospital and IU Arnett Hospital for several years. She enjoyed making bird houses, country music, camping, shopping and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving along with her husband is her son Garrett B. (Ashley) Chaffin of Lafayette, grandchildren Haley, Peyton, Garrett, Austen, Jeneelynn, great grandson Laken and her dogs Peanut, Waylon and cat Lilly. Also surviving are her sisters Carolyn (Terry) Megginson and Brenda "Shelley" M. (Brannon) Bundy all of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Interment will be at West Point Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
