He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Nice; his wife Edna; his mother Lura Mae Nice (Cochran); his son David R. Nice; and his siblings, Donald R. Nice, Helen L. Lowe and Juanita R. Lister.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, David Lister (Lynnette) of Lafayette, Sharon Walters and Angie Bailey; and his grandsons, Jason D, Jeremy R. and Jonathan Nice.
