It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth B. Young of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Walker and Iris Walker (Fitzhugh); and his siblings, Carlos Young and Anita Gwendolyn. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Walker of Lafayette; his children, Brad Walker of Fort Wayne, Cequoya Wallace (Josh Wallace) of Plainfield and Jordan Walker of Los Angeles; his brothers, Edward Young of Fort Wayne and Dennis Young of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Lyric Barva, Ciana Walker, Aveion Walker, Jakobe Wallace, Jaylon Wallace, Jabari Wallace and Aaliyah Wallace; and his great grandchild Athena Barva McCarty.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909).
