He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Willhite and Mabel R. Smith Willhite; his former wife Neva Joyce Smith Willhite; and his siblings, Frank Willhite and Dorothy Woody.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Carver; his children, Sally Snodgrass (William) of Advance, R. Chad Willhite of Gainesville and B. Thomas Willhite (Reinda) of Robinson, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Joseph Snodgrass, Taylor Snodgrass, Hannah Sadler, Ashleigh Gerber, Brian Willhite and Michelle Hodge. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
