He was predeceased by: his father Thomas G. Nix; his brother Paul Nix; and his granddaughter Winnie. He is survived by: his children, Marshall Nix of Seattle, WA and Dana Melton (William) of Tacoma, WA; his siblings, Karl Nix (Mary Jo Kelley) of Baton Rouge, LA, Loretta Walker (Chuck) of Kokomo, IN, Madonna Nix of Kokomo, IN and Kurt Nix (Jill) of Kokomo, IN; and his grandsons, Sebastian and Arthur.
