He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Glenn Rogers and Dixie Mae Rogers (Thompson); his wife Judy; his siblings, Ivan, Bernard, Harold, Donald, Howard, Virginia, Ione, Mary, Ruby and Vera; his grandson Kory Rogers; his great-grandparent Doug; and his grandparents, Kathy Rogers, Jeremy Richard Cheek and Lori Cheek.

He is survived by: his children, Lori Jo Rogers (Cheek) of Lafayette, IN, Lana Sue Rogers (Tennant) and Douglas Austin Rogers (Kathy) of Frankfort, IN.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Cheek, Amy Cheek, Katie Rogers, Karl Rogers, Kurtis Tennant, Kristin Rogers and Angela Tennant; his great grandchildren, Kylie Rogers, Natalie Rogers, Jaylee Rogers, Lucy Rogers and Kara Rogers; his sister Loretta of Rantoul, IL.; Rick.

Memorial contributions in Leonard's name may be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
