She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Thackery and Catherine Thackery (Coggeshall); her husband Wendell McCormick of Fowler; her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law Lou Marosevic; and her brothers, Robert and John Thackery.

She is survived by: her sister Thelma Borchelt of Zeiglerville, PA; her stepdaughter Lana Higginbotham (Ed) of Marietta, GA; her daughters, Susan Ewoldt (Gerry) of Annandale, VA and Kathleen Carter (William) of Manilla, IA; and her grandsons, Lon, Kyle, Ethan and Liam.
