We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 87, Lydia Jane Kenny of Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lydia Jane had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Lydia Jane may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dexter and Twyla Dexter (Messmore). She is survived by: her children, Sheryl S. Kenny of West Lafayette and David D. Kenny (Lisa) of Lafayette, IN; her grandchildren, Chauncey Beck of Phoenix, Nathaniel C Kenny of Indianapolis and Morgan C Kenny of Lafayette; and her brother Dan Dexter of Lafayette.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (1200 Sagamore Pkwy N, Lafayette, IN 47904).
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church or a charity or organization of your choosing in Jane's memory.
