We are sad to announce that, on February 26, 2026, at the age of 91, Marcella Elaine Hudgens of Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Marcella shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marcella farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stewart and Letha Stewart; and her husband Lawrence Hudgens. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Hudgens (Diana Holloway), John Hudgens (Denise Hudgens), Connie Dildine (Mike Dildine) and Brenda Metzger (Jason Metzger); her sister Betty Freese; and her sister-in-law Carol Hudgens. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
