It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcia Kay Porter (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Jean Redding (Mennen) and Willard Howard Redding; and her sister Carol Kallner (Redding). She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Smith (Brian) and Cindy Cockerill (Jeff); her grandchildren, Max, Katie Cockerill and Josie Smith; and her siblings, Donna Bumgardner (Roger), Janet Alexander (Mark), David Redding (Libby) and Melissa Kough (Todd). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In remembrance of Marcia's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Tricia's Hope (http://www.triciashope.org), a local organization that touched her life and provides support for those in cancer treatment.
