She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Buckles and Maude Buckles (Carter); her husband Charles Strong, Jr.; her son Val Joe Strong; her siblings, Robert, Edward Buckles, Gwen Buckles and Rosabell Buckles; and her granddaughter Lyndsey Stevenson Whatley.
She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Lanter (Robert); her grandchildren, Heather Lanter-Haley (Don), Stacey Coar (Shannon), Nikki Stapleton (Johnny), Charles Joseph Strong and Brook Stevenson; her great grandchildren, Colby Stapleton, Emilee Stapleton, Shelby Stapleton, Tyler Coar, Hunter Haley, Bridgette Haley and Trinity Whatley; her great great grandchildren, Oakley, Olivia, Wrenleigh Coar and Emmett Haley; and her stepson Charles E. Strong III.
Memorial contributions in Marjorie's name may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
