She is survived by: her children, Jack Horton of Bloomington, Greg Horton (Diane Leirer) of Bloomington, Linda Horton of Lafayette and Lisa Horton Hornbeck (Tim) of West Lafayette; her sister Sandy Wright of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Benjamin Rouse, Amy Rouse Wright (Steve), Liza Horton Henry (Colin) and Kelly Hornbeck Massie (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Alex, Greyson, Henry, Sawyer and Finn.

“To Mary's family, Your mother was a lovely lady and a faithful member of Bethany. She was also a great social director at Creasy Springs. When you went to visit her, she would make sure to take you to visit all of the other Bethany residents. And her usual place was outside her door so she could see everyone who entered. She also was one we could count on to come up with great skits/entertainment for special programs. We send our love and sympathy to all of her children. Jim and Barb Thompson”
