With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Prelock of Lafayette, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew Prelock to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Matthew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Prelock and Ruth Prelock (Krasovec); his wife Esther Smith (Smith); and his sons, Aaron Prelock (Kathryn) and Joseph Prelock (Emily).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Kossuth Street Baptist Church (2901 Kossuth St, Lafayette, IN 47904).
