He was predeceased by: his children, John Edward Herbert, Russell Eugene Herbert and Debra Lynn Rumpza. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz"; his daughter Lynette Marie Alexander; his grandchildren, Becky, Michael, Andy, Zachary and Sam; his children-in-law, Judy Herbert and Scotty Rumpza; his sister-in-law Sylvia Herbert; and his siblings, John Herbert, Barbara Conner (Harold) and Joan Hassan (Mohamed).
In lieu of flowers, Lynette requests guests donate perennial plants, or strong trees, as a memorial garden will be created to honor those in the Herbert family who are no longer with us.
