She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin B. Yount and Ruth Yount (Garrott); and her siblings, Virginia Williams and Hubert Yount. She is survived by: her children, Norman Weiderhaft (Marjorie) of Anderson, IN, Karen Birck (Jon) of Ridgefield, WA, Rick Weiderhaft (Ruth Ann) of Lafayette, IN, Terry Weiderhaft of Rogers, AR, Mark Weiderhaft (Lori) of Waunakee, WI and Janet Fox of Lafayette, IN; her brother-in-law Chuck Weiderhaft (Martha) of Westfield, IN.; her grandchildren, Amy (Cory), Justin (Nora), Andrew (Rachel), Alex (Sarah), Gary (Sara), Craig, Ryan (Abby), Chad, Laura, Grace, Carsyn and Lindsay; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Connor, Jackson, Miette, Joanna and Raegan.
She served in that role for 33 years and was the first recipient of the Golden Falcon Award which recognizes faculty and staff members of Frontier School Corporation who have made significant positive contributions to students.
