She was predeceased by: her parents, Dionicio Garcia and Celia Del Real; and her son Jose Casas. She is survived by: her husband Ismael Casas; her children, Olivia Castaneda (George), Gerardo Casas (Judy) and Lupe Casas (Jacob); her grandchildren, Eliseo Castaneda, Diego Castaneda, Orlando Castaneda, Isaac Casas, Liana Casas, Aaron Casas, Romelio Guerrero and Evaluna Guerrero; her great grandchild Eric Castaneda; and her siblings, Juan Anselmo Garcia (Gladis), Joel Garcia (Ana), Rosy Garibay (Gera), Celestino Garcia (Leticia), Licha Vazquez (Armando) and Jackie Gomez (Gabriel).
