He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Kirkpatrick and Louella Gerhardt (Bell); his parents-in-law, Wayne and Bette Burton; his sister-in-law Karen Burton; and his stepfather Otto Gerhardt.
He is survived by: his spouse Ferol Burton; his daughters, Kimberly K. Giroux (Bradley) of Lafayette and Paula D. Holmes (Nathan) of Clarks Hill; his grandchildren, Morgan Gardner (Michael) of Lafayette, Emily Riesterer (Jon) of Lafayette, Braden Giroux (Logan) of Lafayette, Clayton Giroux (Kaitlyn Shepherd) of Lafayette, Cashen and Catherine Holmes of Clarks Hill; and his great grandchildren, Myah Gardner, Myles Gardner, Maren Gardner, Monroe Gardner and Jade Riesterer.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Tippecanoe County 4-H Exhibit Association in Paul's memory.
